Zazie O. Beetz was born in Berlin on the 21st of November 1991. Her father is an German cabinet maker who emigrated in the United States in 1990 after the falling of the Berlin Wall, and her mother is a South African American social worker from New York. She graduated from at the same school that was attended by Jennifer Aniston. After completing her studies at LaGuardia, Beetz went on to pursue a degree in French in Skidmore College. The auditions began shortly following graduation, and she was then offered the role of Atlanta. She was born in Berlin to an German father and an African-American mother Beetz was brought up on the streets of New York speaking both German as well as English at home. Zazie was performing on local and community stages in her early years. In grade school, she discovered acting and eventually became a professional actor. Zendaya's Disney Channel Breakout role Zendaya's dancing abilities earned her acclaim. The actress and dancer landed a breakout role in 2010 when she was cast alongside Bella Thorne as Rocky Blue on the TV show "Shake It Up". Zendaya was 11 years old while during a road trip with her family her family was driving through an animal processing plant. PEOPLE claims that Zendaya stated, "I found it horrifying to look at the entire animals that were being crammed inside, awaiting for their time to die." It wasn't how I was eating my meat! The girl has been eating mostly plant-based food ever since.
