Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp, a Canadian actor and actress, is known for playing the lead in a variety of television programs as well as her impressive performances in films. The actress is popular on Canadian and American TV. Emily started acting when she was 12 when she was visiting her sister Katie in one of Katie's films. After Emily discovered her passion for acting, she began taking classes in acting and auditions. Her first audition was for commercials however, she was eventually cast as a child actor on the Canadian television horror show Are You Scared of Darkness? In one single scene she was seen without saying any words. On the WB TV show Glory Days, she received her first break in the industry at the age of 15. Emily's talents caught Greg Berlanti's attention when the show was canceled after nine short episodes. The show's creator cast Emily in Everwood the new television show. Emily has also been a professional dancer also a photographer, and was named one of Teen's top 20 actresses. In Maxim's Hot 100 for 2014 listed her at number 51.
